PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of a post-process device that outputs plural sheets in arrangement after applying a post-process sequentially to the plural sheets, and to reduce the mechanical width of the device.SOLUTION: A post-process device includes: a punch device 51; a first transport roller pair 66; a second transport roller pair 72; a retract drum 63; and a first retract roller 69. In the case of a punch process being sequentially applied to plural sheets, a preceding sheet stands by while rotating on the retract drum 63. Where A is defined as a sheet length, B as a distance between a trail edge of the sheet and the first retract roller 69 when the punch process is applied, C as a distance between the trail edge of the sheet and the second transport roller pair 72, D as a distance between the first transport roller pair 66 and the first retract roller 69, and E as a distance between the first transport roller pair 66 and the second transport roller pair 72, the following conditions are met: AD and A>E.
