Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem caused when processing non-bookbinding center folding in which generally two or more sheets constituting a copy are bundled up and folded in a mass in order to make a copy cut line easy to understand in a printed sheet bundle, however when the number of sheets per one copy is one piece, the folding processing requires time if the sheets are folded every one sheet and the productivity is deteriorated.SOLUTION: The number of sheets per one copy of the printed sheets instructed by a job is acquired, and a determination is made whether the number of sheets per one copy acquired is single or multiple. Here, when determined that the number of sheets per one copy is single, post processing is executed to the retained sheets if the number of sheets of the retained sheets arrives at the maximum number of sheets capable of executing the post processing or the last printed sheet of the job is retained. When determined that the number of sheets per one copy is multiple, the post processing is executed to the retained sheets if the number of sheets of the retained sheets arrives at the maximum number of sheets capable of executing the post processing or the last printed sheet of the copy is retained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
