Abstract:

To improve accuracy of aligning sheets in a post-processing device or the like.

A post-processing device of the invention comprises: a support plate 67 loading thereon sheets; a transport roller for discharging a sheet bundle loaded on the support plate 67; an end guide arranged to be opposed to an upstream end of the sheet bundle in a discharge direction; a shelf 101 provided to be movable downstream in the discharge direction of the sheet bundle from the support plate 67, and supporting the sheet bundle to be loaded along with the support plate 67 when the sheet bundle is discharged from the support plate 67; and a claw portion 110 provided on the shelf 101, opposed to a downstream end of the sheet bundle in the discharge direction as the shelf 101 moves.
