The post-processing device includes: a housing structure 120a having an opening 129; a stapler 127 performing stapling processing; an ejecting roll 128 having a driving side ejecting roll 128a and a driven side ejecting roll 128b moving between a contact position where it comes into contact with the recording material and a non-contact position where it does not come into contact with the recording material, and ejecting the recording material subjected to the stapling processing by the stapler 127 from the opening 129; and an opening/shutting member 130 moving between a covering position where it covers the opening 129 and an open position where it makes the opening 129 open. When the stapler 127 performs the stapling processing, the opening/shutting member 130 is arranged at the covering position, and after it performs the stapling processing, the opening/shutting member 130 moves to the open position, and also the driven side ejecting roll 128b moves to the contact position.
