Abstract:
To provide a post-processing device which can reliably recover a cut needle tip.SOLUTION: A post-processing device comprises: a stapler having a cutting part which cuts a needle tip of a staple driven into a paper bundle according to a thickness of the paper bundle, and an exhaust port which discharges the needle tip cut by the cutting part; a recovery container 35 which recovers the needle tip discharged from the exhaust port; and an installation part 81 which is located below the exhaust port, and to which the recovery container is detachably installed. The recovery container 35 has an upper first hollow part 87 and a lower second hollow part 88 which are vertically divided by a division plate 35b. The needle tip discharged from the exhaust port 47 is accommodated in the first hollow part 87, and a magnet 91, which adsorbs the needle tip dropped onto a bottom plate 81c of the installation part 81 to a bottom plate 35d of the recovery container 35, is installed in the second hollow part 88.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
