The post includes a tabular base 1, and a post portion 2 which is supported on the base 1 and is erected above the base 1. The post portion 1 is provided with a cross bar mounting portion 3 having a flat surface and extending vertically. The cross bar mounting portion 3 can be formed into a simple shape on the post portion 2, which allows a reduction in manufacturing time.
