PURPOSE: To provide a light buoy which is to be provided near the tip of a break-water or at very shallow waters such as a submerged bank and turns around little and vibrates little.
CONSTITUTION: A postlike light buoy is provided with a post body 1 at whose upper end a lantern is provided; and a buoyancy body 4 which follows the post body 1 and is divided into a cone portion 5 and a cylindrical portion 6 and a reverse cone portion 7. A mooring link 9 at the lower end of the buoyancy body 4 is moored by means of a mooring cable 11 whose length realizes tension mooring at the time of the high tide and laxity mooring at the time of the average tide position and at the time of the low tide. Also, a bottom plate and a flange joint are provided at the lower end of the cylindrical portion 6, and the upper portion can be used as a beacon light by carrying out separation from a flange.
