Abstract:
To obtain a small system for evaluating the stability of specific posture quantitatively by a convenient method.
A traveling base section mounting a subject is moved under specified conditions to load the subject with an acceleration and a limit acceleration for sustaining balance of the subject is determined. Stability of posture is then evaluated quantitatively from the duration characteristics of limit acceleration. Limit acceleration for long duration is determined from the limit acceleration characteristics for short duration.
