PURPOSE: To prevent the contact of a steel strip with a snout and particularly to evade the fracture of the steel strip, as for the snout introducing the steel strip into a plating bath in continuous galvanizing equipment.
CONSTITUTION: This continuous galvanizing equipment is constituted of the snout 5 in which the tip part is immersed in the plating bath as well as the outlet part is inclined in the direction of a plating machine immersing roll 3 and a pot roll 3 capable of executing horizontal movement back and forth along the progressing direction of the steel strip and in which the vicinity of the inlet of the snout 5 is provided with a flexible part 6. The equipment nearer to the tip than the flexible part 6 and the frame of the plating machine immersing roll 3 are mechanically joined, which is moved in accordance with the horizontal movement of the pot roll 3.
