To produce a beverage-type potato-containing food capable of being readily utilized at anytime and anywhere, having good texture and excellent in dispersion.
A potato is subjected to a heating treatment such as boiling, and pulverized by a mixer or the like. The pulverized potato is inserted into water with previously pulverized vegetables without the potato, a seasoning and a spice, and the inserted potato, etc., with the water is mixed and dispersed. At the time, the solid content is preferably 5-60 wt.%. The objective potato drink is obtained by heat-treating the obtained dispersed material. A heat- sterilized acid-fermented milk is preferably added thereto besides the materials. The potato-containing beverage is preferably packed in a sealable container.
