Abstract:
To provide a potential energy storage device for a power generating system in which renewable energy is once stored as a potential energy and the potential energy is sent to a power generator as energy suitable for power generation, no electrical power is used when a clutch mechanism used for accumulation and releasing of the potential energy, an operation of a clutch lever is carried out through utilization of power in the system, a changing-over operation for a driving direction and an idling direction can be carried out automatically through an appropriate point and a power generating efficiency of the entire power generating system can be kept in maximum.SOLUTION: A stop mechanism cooperating with an ascending or descending of a weight is installed as a changing-over mechanism for a potential energy accumulation device for a power generating system and a clutch lever is contacted with the stop mechanism to cause a clutch mechanism to be operated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
