Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate the finishing operation of a spherical body and a small product by a method wherein a suction hose or pipe is attached to one end of a hole which is opened at the center of a table and at the other end of which a multi-hole sitter is mounted so as to fix a work by suction onto the table. CONSTITUTION:The suction ports 2 of a sitter are provided on a potter's wheel turning table 4. On the other hand, the potter's wheel turning table 4 is held by a pulley 5 which receives power to turn the potter's wheel table driven by means of a driving source 6. A suction port communicating with the suction ports 2 of the sitter is connected through a suction cavity pipe 10 to a drawer 14 for taking out sucked matters and a suction power device 11. By mounting work to be finished on the potter's wheel turning table 4 having the suction ports 2 of the sitter so as to fix by suction, even a product with a spherical body or a small product can be fully fixed by suction, resulting in satisfactorily working even at the stage where the product is less plastic.
