Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of reducing current consumption and preventing an abnormal writing to a liquid crystal.
SOLUTION: The LCD drive provided in a liquid crystal display device has a shift register 101 into which a clock signal CLK has been inputted, a data register 103 into which display data DR, DG, DB and output ability control signals DRc, DGc, DBc are inputted, a latch 105, a DAC 107 and an output amplifier 109 to which a strobe signal STB is respectively inputted, and the output amplifier 109 enhances output abilities of only source lines to which corrections are made based on the output ability control signals DRc, DGc and DBc expressing whether corrections to the source lines are made or not.
