Abstract:
To provide a pouring pan used in tilted casting, which pouring pan can improve the flowing ability of the molten metal into a cavity of a metallic die with a very simple configuration, and can cast a product having few shrinkage cavities by improving the effect of a riser.
A pour control plate 2 is provided so as to close a pouring port 11 in a pouring port portion 12 formed on the pouring pan 1 for receiving the molten metal M to be poured into the cavity of the metallic die. The pour control plate has a pouring weir 21 having an almost V-shape.
