Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder coating composition and a method for forming a coated film which are excellent in finishing property, water resistance, corrosion resistance, and coated membrane hardness.SOLUTION: A powder coating composition contains a carboxyl group-containing polyester resin (a), a β-hydroxyalkylamide compound (b), and a solid silane coupling agent (c) in which a silane coupling agent (c1) is incorporated into a resin (c2); and contains 0.1-20 pts.mass of the solid silane coupling agent (c) with respect to 100 pts.mass of the total of the solid contents of the carboxyl group-containing polyester resin (a) and the β-hydroxyalkylamide compound (b).SELECTED DRAWING: None
