PURPOSE: To obtain the composition which can from a coating film having a special colorful pattern by one coat by mixing a polyester having a specified group with an acrylic resin having a specified group, a blocked isocyanate and a specified polybasic acid.

CONSTITUTION: The composition is obtained by mixing a hydroxyl and carboxylic polyester (desirably of a hydroxyl value of 5-100KOHmg/g and an acid value of 5-100KOHmg/g) with a glycidylated acrylic resin, a blocked isocyanate and at least one polybasic acid or derivative thereof selected from among a polybasic acid, a polybasic acid anhydride, a polybasic acid amide and a hydrazide of a polybasic acid. This composition can form a coating film of a special colorful patten having a feeling of shading and three- dimensionality and an irregularity-free soft feeling. The formed coating film is excellent n also mechanical properties such as impact resistance and coating strengths.
