In this coating container composed of the container body 1 having an erected opening part 3 and a coating member 11 formed by suspending the coating rod 17 having the coating part 16 at its lower end, from a grip part 12 used also as a cap fitted to an outer face of the opening part into the container body, the coating rod is inserted into a bottomed vertical cylinder 5 vertically mounted from an inner face of the opening part, and a powder introduction port 7 is formed on a cylindrical part 5a in which the coating part is inserted, of the vertical cylinder.
