PURPOSE: To provide a powder developer discharging device constituted so that the number of parts may be reduced, its assembly may be easy and rapid and the efficiency of its assembling work may be drastically improved.

CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a projecting body 33 projecting from a powder case 12 main body in which unnecessary powder developer (discharged toner) 5 already used in an electrophotographic recorder is recovered and having a discharge port 35; an opening/closing body 38 provided with an engaging pawl 39 freely engaged with and disengaged from an engaging part 36 formed on the projecting body 33, having an aperture 40 capable of opening/ closing the discharge port and pressed so that the discharge port and the aperture may be aligned; and a pressing member 43 pressing the body 38 so that the discharge port and the aperture may be deviated when pressing force to the body 38 is eliminated.
