A powder feed control device is provided with a powder feeder 17 so constituted as to adjust the amount of feeding powder into a carrying pipe 14, a carrying gas feeder 11 for feeding carrying gas and introducing the powder to the other end side, a feed gas pressure sensor 16 for sensing the feed pressure of carrying gas, a forming device 13 provided on the other end of the carrying pipe and filling the powder carried by carrying gas into a storage container 12 together with the carrying gas and exhausting the gas in the container out of an exhaust outlet 13c to the outside, an exhaust pipe 18 having a flow-rate sensor 21 connected with the exhaust outlet and sensing the gas flow rate, a regulating valve 22 so constituted as to regulate the gas flow rate, an exhaust gas pressure sensor 23 provided between the regulating valve and the exhaust outlet, a filter 27, a controller 24 for controlling the carrying gas feeder 11 and the regulating valve 22 by the sensed output of a fed gas pressure sensor 16, the flow-rate sensor 21 and the exhaust gas pressure sensor 23.
