A powder discharge device includes the vacuum hopper H capable of storing the powder P sealably, a substrate having a material inlet communicated with a discharge port H1 in a vacuum hopper H lower end, and a material outlet opened with a prescribed space L along a horizontal direction from the material inlet, a sliding plate 2 with an under face of the substrate freely slidable along the horizontal direction, and with a through hole opened to be penetrated vertically, a sliding container 3 with an upper end opening fixed to the through hole of the sliding plate, and moved horizontally interlocked with the sliding plate, a lid with a porous body not passing the powder but passing gas only, in a lower end of the sliding container 3, and capable of sealing the sliding container 3, and an air regulation means communicated with the lid part to suck, exhaust or purge the gas in/from the sliding container 3.
