To efficiently heat a powder and granular material by efficiently heating a powder and granular material container without complicating an internal configuration of the powder and granular material container.
A powder and granular material heating device includes: a metallic powder and granular material container 2 which is shaped cylindrical approximately for storing a powder and granular material and stirring the powder and granular material internally; and a plurality of induction heating sections 3 provided on an approximately lower half of an outer circumferential surface of the powder and granular material container 2 for performing induction heating on a side circumferential wall 21 of the powder and granular material container 2. The induction heating section 3 includes: an approximately plate-like induction coil 31 which is provided in contact with or proximately to the outer circumferential surface of the powder and granular material container 2; an iron core 32 which is provided in a central part of the induction coil 31; and a coil cover 33 which is mounted to the powder and granular material container 2 so as to cover the induction coil 31 and is comprised of a magnetic substance for a magnetic flux passage in which a short-circuiting-proof slit 33S is formed.
