PURPOSE: To obtain the titled powder, granule or tablet for agricultural or disinfecting use, almost free of generation of dust, easily handleable, and rapidly exhibiting the biological activity of the active cmponent, by adding an aqueous solution of a moisture- controlling agent containing a surface active agent to the active component.

CONSTITUTION: The objective powder, granule or tablet for agricultural or disinfecting use can be prepared by adding an aqueous solution of a moisture-controlling agent containing a surface active agent (e.g. a benzenesulfonate) to the active component. Any moisture-controlling agent can be used provided that it has low volatility, suppresses the effective moisture absorption and reduces the loss of water, e.g. an inorganic compound such as chloride, sulfate, etc. of alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, ammonia, etc. or an organic compound such as fatty acid salt, alcohol, amino acid derivative, etc. The objective product can be produced by adding an aqueous solution of the surface active agent and the moisture-controlling agent to the fine powder of the active solid component and the vehicle (e.g. inorganic silicate, wood flour, etc.), stirring the mixture, and crushing and dispersing the product. When the active component is liquid, it is used by dissolving in the surface active agent.
