Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable discrimination of the quality of a molded body precisely and easily, by a method wherein a scale showing a turning quantity of an upper of lower press roll and a sensor reading out a motion of the scale are provided around a shaft of the upper or low press roll. CONSTITUTION:In the case where a die hole 8 is filled with dumpling-like powder A but filling is not performed at sufficient density and a quantity, an upper punch 10 is dropped by a guide rail 27 before it arrives at an upper press roller 22 and a degree of insertion of it within a die hole 8 is high as compared with that obtainable when the powder is filled into the die hole 8 at the appropriate quantity and density. Therefore, a moved distance of the upper punch 10 to be dropped by the roller 22 is shorter as compared with that obtainable when the filling is performed appropriately into the die hole 8, a turning quantity also is low and a molded body is an article of interior quality. Then as a scale 30 also moves according to turning of the upper press roller 22, a movement of the scale 30 is read out by a sensor 31, the moved distance of the upper punch 10 is detected by operating a signal through the sensor 31 with a detector 32 and density of the molded body is detected and displayed further.
