Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder supply device that can relatively easily remove a powder remaining in the vicinity of a suction port in a conveyance tube connected with a storage unit, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A powder supply device includes a shutter member 87 (aperture area varying means) that makes the aperture area X2 of a suction port 99 when a storage unit 81 is detached from a conveyance tube 95 (nozzle 98) smaller than the aperture area X1 of the suction port 99 when the storage unit 81 is attached to the conveyance tube 95 (nozzle 98) and larger than zero.
