To provide a powder treating device which can treat a large amount of particulate material at a time without being pulverized, and also can perform a treatment to make the powder globular-shaped and further, a treatment to make the powder a composite type without being influenced by the characteristics of the powder, that is, as exampled by the powder ranging from the non-plastic deformation type such as graphite to the low melting point type, as well as powder treating facilities.
In this powder treatment device 1, which includes the following components: a body 4 including a cylindrical rotator 2a which rotates rapidly and a cylindrical stator 3a arranged coaxially with the cylindrical rotator 2a in the way that a gap 5 is formed outside of the cylindrical rotator 2a, a feed opening 6 which is arranged at one end of the body 4 and feeds a raw material to be treated, into the gap 5 together with an air current, and a discharge opening 7 which is arranged at the other end of the body 4 and makes a discharging of the treated material made globular between the cylindrical rotator 2a and the cylindrical stator 3a, from the gap 5, a circumferential groove 14a which is orthogonal with the axis of the cylindrical stator 3a or a spiral groove angled at not less than 60 degrees and less than 90 degrees with the axis, is formed on the internal circumferential surface of the cylindrical stator 3a.
