Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new powder spheronization treatment apparatus which suppresses the production of fine powders and thereby improves its yield when forming a graphite particle into a spherical shape.SOLUTION: A powder treatment apparatus 10 comprises: a cylindrical tube 1 that is spirally formed; a feed part 5 for feeding a scale-like graphite particle powder to the cylindrical tube; and a discharge part 6 for discharging the powder from the cylindrical tube, and forms the supplied powder into a spherical shape by passing the powder through the spiral cylindrical tube. The powder is supplied to the cylindrical tube with an air current, collides with an inner wall of the cylindrical tube, bends its end and is formed into a spherical shape.
