PURPOSE: To weigh powder without making lumps in it, ensure steady weighing with satisfactory weighing precision, and, further, cope with even a change in system, by providing a sifter having a proper mesh for passing powder through, and by vibrating the sifter by a vibrating means.

CONSTITUTION: By rotating a screw 2 by means of a motor 3, powder 7 is gradually supplied to a sifter 4 set under a supply device 1. The sifter 4 consists of a sieve net 5, having a proper mesh for passing the powder 7 through, and a sieve frame 6, and is vibrated by a vibrating device 8 to allow only moderately-fine powder 7 to be passed through down. The powder 7 passed through the sieve net 7 is collected by a hopper 9 and falls into a container 10 placed on a weighing instrument 11. Lumps are removed by passing the powder 7 through the sifter 4, the speed at which the powder 7 is supplied to the weighing instrument 11, used for measuring the weight of the powder, can be altered by bringing the sifter 4 into particular vibrations by means of the vibrating device 8, and thus accurate weighing out can be achieved.
