PURPOSE: The title composition capable of forming a film having improved adhesivity to a substrate, stress cracking resistance, and smoothness, obtained by adding a specific hydrocarbon wax to modified polymer prepared by grafting an unsaturated carboxylic acid (derivative) onto an ethylene polymer.

CONSTITUTION: A composition consisting of A) 97W70 wt.% of a modified ethylene polymer (e.g., a modified polymer obtained by grafting malelic anhydride onto polyethylene) having a melt index of 1W50, prepared by grafting partly or wholly an unsaturated carboxylic acid (derivative) onto polyethylene, B) 3W 30 wt.% of a hydrocarbon wax (e.g., polyethylene wax) having an average molecular weight of 400W3,000 and a density not less than 0.90 g/cm3, and, if necessary, many kinds of additives.
