Abstract:
To provide a powdery cellulose having excellent powder fluidity without damaging the quality possessed by a natural cellulose by using the natural cellulose as a starting material; and to provide a method for producing the powdery cellulose.
The powdery cellulose having ≥50% crystallinity of type I cellulose, ≥500 average polymerization degree, ≤20 wt.% proportion of 100 mesh-impassable component and ≥0.15 g/mL bulk density is produced by using a cutting type mill singly, or the cutting type mill and an impact mill and/or a pneumatic mill.
