Abstract:
To provide a powdery flame retardant that is useful for simply producing foam having excellent flame retardancy and a method of producing flame- retardant foam.
The powdery flame retardant agent includes certain amounts of ammonium chloride, pentaerythritol, dicyandiamide and propylene glycol, but does not include sodium tungstate, ammonium sulfate, formaldehyde, uric acid and ammonium monophosphate. The powdery foaming agent is admixed to a foaming material and the resultant composition is foamed.
