Title:
POWDERY MIXTURE FOR POWDER METALLURGY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3694968
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powdery mixture of Fe-Cu series or Fe-Cu-C series for powder metallurgy capable of producing sintered parts small in dimensional change and having high dimensional accuracy.
SOLUTION: By using copper powder which is a powdery mixture of Fe-Cu series or Fe-Cu-C series obtd. by mixing ferrous powder and copper powder or furthermore with graphite powder, and in which the content of Pb in the copper powder is limited to ≤0.05wt.%, the dimensional change therein in the process of sintering can be reduced. The compsn. of the powdery mixture is composed of 0.1 to 5wt.% copper powder or furthermore ≤2wt.% graphite powder, and the balance ferrous powder, and as the above ferrous powder, the one whose surface is diffusedly adhered with the above copper powder is preferably used.
