Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the composition which can provide a grease composition having excellent lubricating properties and being lowly corrosive by adopting a specified molecular structure.
CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises a compound of the formula and has a particle diameter of the constituent particle of 50μm or below. In the formula, R1, R2, R3 and R4 are hydrocarbon groups which may be the same or different from each other, and have 4-36 carbon atoms in total; Xs are sulfur atoms or oxygen atoms and have a total composition of SmOn (wherein m and n are in the ranges: 1.7≤m≤3.5, and 0.5≤n≤2.3). 100 pts.wt. base grease is compounded with 0.1-10 pts.wt. above composition to form a grease composition.
