Abstract:
To provide a lightweight power-assisted bicycle increased in the charging efficiency in a traveling mode to eliminate or reduce the charging work.
This power-assisted bicycle comprises a motor M to drive wheels, a regenerative device 31 which is connected to this motor M via a wire 30 and comprises a transistor 32 and a diode 31a to regenerate it, and a capacitor 20 with large capacity, connected to the motor M via wires 15, 21, 23, the rotation of the wheels is assisted by the drive of the motor M in a starting mode and a slope-climbing mode, and the power obtained through the regenerative braking action of the motor M is charge in a brake applying mode and in a traveling mode at high speed.
