To provide a power circuit cutoff connector easily cutting off a power circuit to prevent the malfunction of a machine and optimum to carry.
This power circuit cutoff connector is constituted of a receptacle 1 and a plug 2 removable/fittable to the receptacle 1. The receptacle 1 is provided with a nearly columnar hollow section in an insulator, and a pair of female contact pieces 1a insulated from each other are arranged in the hollow section. The plug 2 is provided with a nearly columnar male contact piece 2 a capable of conducting a pair of female contact pieces together when it is inserted into the hollow section. A rod-like safety stopper 1h is formed in the longitudinal direction in the hollow section of the power circuit cutoff connector, a safety stopper storage hole is bored along the longitudinal direction on the male contact piece 2a, or a clip 2e is preferably fitted to the plug 2.
