SOLUTION: This power circular saw has in a body housing 1 the gear box 19 including a gear mechanism for transmitting the rotation of a motor 20 to a saw blade 8. The gear box 19 comprises a plate 26 and a first gear box 24 and a second gear box 25 sandwiching the plate 26, the first gear box 24 and the second gear box 25 are made of resin, and the plate 26 is made of material having higher rigidity and thermal conductivity than the first gear box 24 and the second gear box 25.
