PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conditioner and connection discrimination method therefor, capable of determining a connection state of an input power supply in a power generation system with a multiple-string configuration.SOLUTION: The power conditioner comprises: a plurality of DC-DC converters 103 with which each of a plurality of input power supply 2 is connected; and a plurality of DC detection section 102 each of which adapts to the plurality of DC-DC converters 103. The plurality of DC-DC converters 103 are configured to be singly switchable.
