A system consists of at least one monitoring means 6 and 7 for transmitting a reporting signal by radio or a power line carrier by measuring the power consumption of at least one electrical equipment 2, 3, and 4 and a reporting means 8 for reporting by receiving a reporting signal from the monitoring means 6 and 7. Then, the monitoring means 6 and 7 monitor the power consumption or the total power of connected electrical equipment 2, 3, and 4 and transmits a reporting signal to the reporting means 8 when a specific value is exceeded, thus monitoring an abnormality where the power consumption of the electrical equipment 2, 3, and 4 is excessive and monitoring the simultaneous use of a plurality of electrical equipment exceeding a tolerance since a reporting is made when a power exceeding a specific amount is taken out of wall outlets.
