Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power consumption reduction circuit capable of drastically reducing power consumption while keeping power supply.SOLUTION: A power consumption reduction circuit comprises: a power supply circuit; a first step-down circuit; a second step-down circuit; and a drive switching circuit. The power supply circuit outputs first voltage or second voltage in a switchable manner. The first step-down circuit performs step-down of the first voltage to generate third voltage. The second step-down circuit performs step-down of the second voltage to generate the third voltage. The drive switching circuit performs drive control of the first step-down circuit and the second step-down circuit. The drive switching circuit makes a first generation period in which the first step-down circuit generates the third voltage overlap with a second generation period in which the second step-down circuit generates the third voltage.
