PURPOSE: In a system for controlling the traveling of a traveling body by controlling power by AC feeder, to power-control the traveling body by use of a single- phase AC feeder and two trolley lines without using a three-phase AC feeder.
CONSTITUTION: A single-phase AC feeder line F, a single-phase AC feeder section trolley line T and a trolley line To are provided along a track of a traveling body M, the section trolley line T is electrically insulated and divided by air gaps G1, G2 - - - - - to section the same into predetermined blocking sections T1, T2 - - - - , section feeder installations SP1, SP2 - - - - - being interposed between the section trolling lines T. To one of the insulation section points at both ends of each of the blocking sections of the section trolley lines there is carried out constant feeding of the single-phase AC half-wave, and other half-wave feeder is connected to the section trolley line T adjacent to the rear part in the progressing direction of the traveling body M such that it is connected and disconnected to and from said section trolley line T.
