Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a secondary battery as a power storage for accumulating inexpensive nighttime power at a home as well as a power source of an electric car by controlling the charge and discharge of the secondary battery in the electric car.
SOLUTION: The power control system comprises the electric car 1 having the secondary battery 2, and a control box 3 that is connected to a power feed system and the power system in a building 4, can be connected to the secondary battery 2 in the electric car 1, and supplies power that is fed from the power feed system to the power system in the building 4. The control box 3 is connected to the electric car 1. The power control system supplies the battery power in the secondary battery 2 to the power system in the building 4 when the amount of charge in the secondary battery 2 exceeds a preset reference remainder, and charges the secondary battery 2 using the power that is fed from the power feed system when the amount of charge in the secondary battery 2 is less than the reference remainder.
