Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power controller configured to properly change the timing to measure an output of a power generator, in response to irregular changes of environmental conditions.SOLUTION: At a time T3 when an operation mode enters standby mode upon completion of printing, a switching control unit predicts a subsequent temperature change pattern of a power generation unit. The temperature rapidly changes in a first period PW1, is stabilized in a second period PW2, rapidly decreases in a third period PW3, and is stabilized again in a fourth period PW4. According to the pattern, the switching control unit schedules modification of a cycle for cutting off the power generation unit from an adjustment unit. The cycle is reduced to two seconds at the time T3, is maintained at the value in the first period PW1, is extended from the value in the second period PW2, is reduced to two seconds in the third period PW3, and is extended from the value in the fourth period PW4. The switching control unit modifies the cycle according to the operation mode duration time from the time T3 and change speed of a measurement value of a measurement unit.
