Title:
POWER SUPPLY CONTROLLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2018046646
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply controller capable of performing failure diagnosis in a state in which a power supply feeding path is cut off, to enable reduction in dark current not only at the normal time but also at the failure time.SOLUTION: A power supply controller comprises: a first power supply cut-off circuit 1 provided on a power supply feeding path 10 to an electric load 3, the first power supply cut-off circuit switching the power supply feeding path into a conduction state or a cut-off state on the basis of an ignition request signal IGN for the electric load; and a second power supply cut-off circuit 2 provided on the power supply feeding path's part between the first power supply cut-off circuit and the electric load, the second power supply cut-off circuit switching the power supply feeding path into a conduction state or a cut-off state on the basis of the ignition request signal and a voltage level of the power supply feeding path's part on the downstream side of the first power supply cut-off circuit. The second power supply cut-off circuit performs failure diagnosis when the power supply feeding path is in a cut-off state in the first power supply cut-off circuit. When the voltage level of the power supply feeding path exceeds a predetermined value, the second power supply cut-off circuit cuts off the power supply feeding path to inhibit dark current from flowing through a current path generated by a failure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
