Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power controller which can realize lower power consumption by enabling itself to automatically start its main power from a battery, when a signal for directing its recovery from the standby state is inputted, thereby obviating the need for generating backup power.
SOLUTION: This power controller possesses an external signal input detecting circuit 16 which detects a signal inputted from the outside into an input terminal 11, a constant-current source circuit 18 which is started based on this detection output and self-holds the operation state, a main power circuit 20 which goes into operation state, receiving the current output of this constant- current source circuit, and outputs low voltage from a battery power source, and a reset circuit 22 which controls the constant-current circuit to off state, by receiving a reset signal.
