PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power managing device that can properly suppress power consumption on a user side.SOLUTION: A power managing device has a communication unit 11 for receiving a power limiting instruction for instructing suppression of use of power of a power system, a determining unit 12 for determining a required amount of power at a user side on the basis of an activity amount of a person at the user side, and a transmission unit 13 for transmitting an instruction of suppressing use of power exceeding the determined required amount when the communication unit 11 receives the power limiting instruction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
