Abstract:
To provide a power conversion device capable of improving power conversion efficiency.SOLUTION: A power conversion device 100 comprises a step-down converter circuit 50 employing switching elements Q1 and Q2, a DC transformer circuit 60, and a PWM control unit 15. The DC transformer circuit 60 includes a bridge circuit 30 that is connected to the step-down converter circuit 50, a transformer 14 that is connected to the bridge circuit 30, and a push-pull circuit 40 that is connected to the transformer 14. The PWM control unit 15 switches switching elements that the bridge circuit 30 and the push-pull circuit 40 include, in the timing that a waveform of a reactor current Iwhich flows from the step-down converter circuit 50 to the DC transformer circuit 60, is valley-shaped in a state where the reactor current Iis greater than or equal to a threshold, and switches the switching elements in the timing that the waveform is crest-shaped in a state where the reactor current Iis smaller than the threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
