Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion system capable of suppressing a change in a device configuration and causing an electric vehicle to travel in an emergency.SOLUTION: A power conversion system includes a transformer, a power conversion device, an AC contactor, a power storage device, a DC contactor, and a contactor box. The power conversion device converts AC power supplied through secondary winding of the transformer to DC power, converts the converted DC power to power for travelling, and supplies it to a travelling motor. The AC contactor is provided in the middle of a first power line for connecting the transformer and the power conversion device, and switches a state between a state for cutting off power and a state for conducting power. The power storage device is connected to a point in the middle of the AC contactor in the first power line and the power conversion device. The DC contactor is provided in the middle of a second power line for connecting the power storage device and the first power line, and switches a state between a state for cutting off power and a state for conducting power. The contactor box houses the AC contactor and the DC contactor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
