Abstract:
To provide a control circuit for a power converter, in which a power storage part and the power converter can be protected.SOLUTION: A control circuit 50 is applied to a system including a rotary electric machine, a power converter that is electrically connected to a winding of the rotary electric machine, a high-voltage power source, first and second cutoff switches 23a, 23b that are disposed on an electric path connecting the high-voltage power source and the power converter, and a power storage part. The control circuit 50 determines whether or not an abnormality has occurred in the system. When determining that an abnormality has occurred, the control circuit 50 prevents occurrence of power regeneration, and then, switches the first and second cutoff switches 23a, 23b to an OFF state. Specifically, the process for preventing occurrence of power regeneration is a three-phase short circuit control process of switching an upper arm switch SWH to an OFF state and switching a lower arm switch SWL to an ON state, for example.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
