To provide a power converter in which stable output control is enabled by canceling an output current in a lag phase.
The power converter is provided with an LC filter circuit which is connected with a commercial power source line AC and constituted of a choke coil L0 and a filter capacitor C0, feeds back a detection current of a current detector CT arranged in the front of the filter capacitor C0 of the LC filter circuit, and is subjected to PWM modulation in accordance with comparison result of the feedback current and a reference voltage Vref. A lead phase signal from a differential circuit of a capacitor C1 and a resistor R1 is added to the reference voltage Vref, thereby canceling a lead phase current flowing from a commercial power source line AC.
