Abstract:
To provide a highly reliable power conversion device having improved operation continuity performance.SOLUTION: A power conversion device in an embodiment includes a power converter, and a converter control unit. The power conversion device can convert alternating current and direct current. The power converter includes a switching element for enabling an AC terminal voltage on the AC side to be switched. The converter control unit gives an operation command to the switching element. The converter control unit has a current control unit. The current control unit controls the AC current by calculating a command value of the AC terminal voltage based on the detection values of the AC voltage and the AC current flowing through the power converter. The current control unit has a correction unit. The correction unit estimates an AC disturbance voltage based on the AC current and the characteristic of the impedance between the AC voltage and the power converter, and corrects the command value of the AC terminal voltage based on the estimated disturbance voltage. The detection of the AC current for calculating the estimated disturbance voltage in the correction unit is executed at a substantially higher speed than that of the detection of the AC voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
