Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter which enables a cooling structure of a required absolute minimum size, and enables the size and weight reduction of the power converter, by leveling shares of loss heat applied to a plurality of coolers.
SOLUTION: In the power converter in which a plurality of groups of power converting circuits for converting an AC into a DC, or a DC into an AC by a switching operation of a plurality of semiconductor elements are housed, the semiconductor elements (8) for forming the groups of power converting circuits are fitted to a common cooling unit (30) which has a heat-receiving part (31) and a heat-radiating part (32).
